Tank capacity, waste code and licensed facility: planned together.
For licensed companies collecting waste from industrial plants, organised industrial zones, fuel stations and workshops. Plans which vehicle collects which waste codes in which order and delivers to which facility, together with tank capacity, incompatible wastes and delivery deadlines.
Tank full mid-route: detour to facility, empty returnTrips split by capacity; no empty return
Every load is recorded; the route is still in the driver's head.
In licensed transport every loading and unloading is entered into the Ministry's mobile waste tracking system, and a positioning device is mandatory in the vehicle. The route exists as data but not as a plan. The tank fills mid-route, the vehicle detours to the licensed facility and returns empty; a waste code that cannot share the tank gets a second trip.
Regulation fixes three rules: wastes may not be mixed, unloading only at a licensed facility, and if the facility refuses the load the vehicle is redirected. In practice a deadline for delivery after loading and tank cleaning when switching waste types are also required. When these rules are not planned, the cost shows up not as kilometres but as vehicles and days.
- Delivery deadline after loading, as required in practice
- 10 days
- Hazardous waste that may travel without a licensed vehicle
- under 50 kg
- Records per trip
- 3 codes loading, delivery, unloading
Sources: the Waste Management Regulation, the Communiqué on Road Transport of Waste and the Ministry's system presentation. The delivery deadline appears in the sector opinion on the draft communiqué and in provincial checklists; the current condition in your licence file prevails.
What does the route plan take into account?
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Vehicle and waste code compatibility | Each point is assigned only to a vehicle licensed for that waste code. |
| Incompatible wastes | Codes that cannot share a tank or compartment go on separate trips; cleaning time and cost between them enter the plan. |
| Tank and body capacity | Trips are split so the tank is full at the facility; no mid-route filling or empty returns. |
| Delivery deadline | The deadline for delivery after loading is the upper bound of the multi-day plan. |
| Licensed facility | Unloading only at a facility that accepts the code, within its working hours. |
| Facility refusal | A backup facility and re-planning for a refused load. |
| Driver and vehicle qualification | ADR-certified drivers and vehicles within the licence age limit, assigned as qualification constraints. |
| Working hours | Driving and rest periods and the shift limit are in the plan. |
How we work
Point list and waste codes
The loading points, waste codes and estimated quantities in your tracking system are enough. No new record system is set up.
Vehicles and facilities
Vehicle licences, tank and compartment capacities, the facilities you work with and their acceptance hours are defined in the interface.
Weekly trip plan
Which vehicle, which day, which points, which facility. Distance, time and fuel per vehicle; the next points on the driver screen.
Getting started
Akılkent's route solver was validated with real data in municipal solid waste operations; the same core runs with this sector's rules. The constraints above are defined for your operation in the first conversation and computed with your own data in the free pre-analysis. We review the results together and, if it fits, start with a trial in one area.
See it with your own data
With your vehicle list and point locations we compute the savings potential of your operation and review the result together. A request is not a purchase commitment.
